So.. this is my first blog? 🤔

Over the last few weeks i've been debating if I should set up a Site like this.. and admittedly, I am probably not going to be the best starting off but I hope to ideally use this Site as both a playground for any type-script/react code I write going forward, as well as a playground for my thoughts and theories..

And i've already started to ramble ~ that didn't take long! 😅 That being another thing I hope to improve on as I continue to write more blog posts - spacing out my words and text so it's both understandable and light to read!

About me

That said, let me introduce myself! I'm Jack, 21, and a Luau developer based in the United Kingdom, yes, you heard that correct - my most prominant language at the moment is Luau, the language that split off from Lua 5.1 and became it's own branch of stuff..!

I've been a Roblox developer for a few years now, though i've not really made anything which put my name out there - I'd still consider myself a Roblox Developer!

At the moment i'm working for Dubit, an amazing company based in Leeds, UK that is centered around creating awesome experiences for young people! There's a lot I could say about Dubit, but to keep my first blog post short and simple - Dubit's awesome 😁

Hobbies

Ahh, so i've always been lacking in hobbies and actually have trouble sometimes leaving my own computer.. but i'll see if I can name a few things I do when I have the opportunity to do so:

Drawing! I quite like to draw, I was raised around my brother who had a talent for drawing stuff and inherently I started to do the same at a young age..
- Nowerdays, I don't normally draw, but when I find myself in that position it's normally a calming exersise where I can express some of my artistic abilities I don't let out often enough..
Walking, often I find that a walk helps me get out of my own head, and it's really refreshing if i've had a troublesome day..
- I used to walk my dog (Rusty - I post-fixed his name with "Roo" so instead of just Rusty, he was Rusty Roo) but he's recently passed on, they were the reason why I initially started going for walks thugh..
Listening to Music, now this may make me a bit weird, but when I listen to music I can sometimes imagine a sort of battle between the singer and the sounds being played
- Often this is what makes me emotional, and i'm not entirely sure why, there's just some sort of context, underlaying vibe which seems to settle with me.. 😅
